Tara is a naturopathic doctor and a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
(CCNM). She also graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from
Laurentian University. She is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy and a
member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
In addition to her private practice at the Yonge and Sheppard Health Centre, Tara is also a
Clinical Resident at CCNM. As a resident, she assists in teaching several courses, as well as
supervising naturopathic interns at the Sherbourne Health Centre and the RSNC oncology shift.
Tara's naturopathic practice is family oriented with a focus on women's health and pediatric
care. She has received specific training in naturopathic pediatric care during her internship at
CCNM, and believes strongly that we must invest in the health of our children today. She has
a great passion for empowering others to improve their own health, and thereby their quality of
life, through naturopathic medicine. Tara offers an integrative approach which includes clinical
nutrition, homeopathy, botanical therapy, detoxification, lifestyle and weight loss counseling, and
Traditional Chinese medicine.
